Social Events at the 2008 North American Nationals

Tuesday July 1st 8pm

There will be a Teacher's Reception to get the weekend started.  We hope everyone can make it to celebrate the beginning of the championship and dance the night away! 8pm Delta Main ballroom

Friday July 4th 7pm

There will be a teen disco party in an upstairs ballroom.  There will be a DJ and refreshments for all.  Please spread the word amongst your students. 7pm Delta Main Ballroom

Friday July 4th

Teachers night at the new nightclub just built at Opryland. A flyer will follow for everyone to hang in his or her studios to get the word out.

Saturday July 5th 9pm

This year we have planned a big music session in a large lobby in the hotel.  There will be an admission fee for the fun and music.  It will be an old-fashioned singsong, dance, and music session.  If you have any students or friends who play music have them bring their instruments.  Brian Grant, Pat King, Conor McGuirk, and Anthony Davis will be helping to keep the night alive. 9pm lobby outside of the main dancing ballrooms

I am asking that every school send me five pictures of their school (digital only) to o northamericannationals@yahoo.com.  I would also love any pictures of groups of teachers, musicians, or adjudicators you have from now or years ago.
